For the 2008 race, 3 Days of Syllamo will purchase green tags to offset the carbon emissions created by the race and become climate neutral. Green tags are used to replace traditional polluting sources of electricity with clean, secure, and sustainable renewable sources of energy that come from solar and wind power from across North America.
