My Clean PC – Spring Cleaning for Your Computer

After giving my home a good Spring cleaning, I saw an advertisement for Mycleanpc.com talking about cleaning your computer. Okay, my computer was slowing down, so I thought why not? They offered a free download to scan my computer for old files, spyware, and anything that would effect my computers performance.
My computer was dirtier than my home it seemed, The software from Mycleanpc found so many errors that threatened my computer. With one click, I could clean them all. Of course, it wasn’t free, but nobody will clean your home for free why should they lean my computer for free? If someone did offer to clean my house for free I would think they wanted to steal something, which is how I looked at the free computer cleaning programs.
I called My Clean PC first, before putting in my credit card number. They claimed to have 24 hour help by phone, which they did. A real person gets on the phone 24 hours a day. I just wanted to heck first because a good sign of a scam is email support only, no phone number or physical address.
Computer cleaning does work wonders for speeding up a computer, at least it worked for me. My only complaint is that I could hardly hear my customer service rep, but as I didn’t have a question, it didn’t really matter.

I got Mycleanpc by way of my aunt who saw the commercial on TV, and downloaded it and ran the free trial. She called me saying it and it found a bunch of ’stuff’ as she told me. She asked me if she should buy it, and I told her I don’t know- so she bought it.
Later after she told me that she bought it ‘Because she computer was running really slow’, I went over and checked out her system.
The reality was that her system was actually in great shape. It booted without problems, and I ran ccleaner on it and it did not find much in the registry that was an issue.
I also got it, and tried it on one of my spare computers, and it found some things but nothing major, so I didn’t get it. My aunt on the other hand, if still happy with it.
