Korean Entrepreneur Biography – Ilchi Lee
Ilchi Lee is a South Korean entrepreneur born in 1950. He suffers from learning disability at a young age. Because of his learning disability, he couldn’t do well at school. Immediately after graduating high school, he decided to enter college. He sits for the college entrance exams for three times before he was accepted. He practiced Taekwondo while studying at the college. When he was 30 years old, he climbed a mountain located in the Jeolla province. During his stay at Mount Moak, he decided not to eat or sleep. He becomes alert after he fasted for twenty one days on Mount Moak.
According to Ilchi Lee, sharing with people gives him joy. He teaches people to share with people and contributes to the society. He shared his experiences with people by providing free lessons. He wanted to help people become healthier. He provided free lessons on different exercise techniques after he came down from Mount Moak. He tutored a stroke patient at first. After that, he began to give training lessons to a large a number of people. He regularly provides free lessons at the park.
After giving free lessons for 5 days, he decided to start his own training center. The first brain enhancement center he established is called the Dahn Yoga Center. Ilchi Lee has hosted a number of conferences throughout his lives. Many important people came to attend his conference including vice presidents, journalists, and etc. Ilchi Lee also holds seminars at Korea Institute of Brain Science (KIBS).
